This bundle includes 25 projects for the business classroom grades 8-12! All projects have step by step instructions and have rubrics included! Please note these are all projects, not unit plans. If you like a project and would like the unit plan, those too are available for purchase.
Project List
1. Successful Entrepreneur Research Projects- Students research a successful entrepreneur of their choice and create a power point presentation to share with the class.
2. Shark Tank- This project deals with Basic Economic Concepts and students must complete a variety of tasks. Students love this project! They will come up with a business of their own and will make a presentation. They present their businesses shark tank style. It's a great way to get students excited about business!
3. Product Creation Infographic- This lesson is designed to teach students how to create an infographic online. The students are to create an infographic that gives new middle school students tips on how to survive middle school. This can also be changed to have high school students give tips on how to survive high school. When the project is complete I made a bulletin board in the school with the students work.
4. Business Plan Project- Students create a very basic business plan covering their new business including a business description, a marketing section, a financing section, and a management section. They then create a power point to describe their new business venture.
5. Market Research Project- This project is created to have students research the market for the business they are creating. It is essential to understand the demographics of your market for the business you are in to see if it has a chance to succeed. Students in this project will research the market, identify target market, understand their customer profile, and collect primary data by customers. Once they have researched their market of their business they will turn it into a professional presentation. This is great to have students have a realistic idea of some of the steps that are required in creating a business.
6. Marketing Plan Project- This project is created to have students design a marketing plan for this business to help it succeed. In this project students will be creating and describing their marketing plan, while also creating a visual of their businesses advertisement. Students will have to research and be innovative during this project. They will also be designing a brand, planning distribution, and sales.
7. Final Business Decisions- It has students learn how to make some of the final decisions for their business. This includes choosing a locations and type of business, startup finances, vendors and inventory, business operations, and a plan of action to prevent risk and improve growth. It’s a great project to have students get an idea of the steps its takes to complete their business.
8. The Business Plan- This project is created for Entrepreneurship class for grades 9-12. This is the final project for students to create a professional business plan for their business. It has step by step instructions for students to prepare for their business plan, along with a professional business plan outline document. The outline of a business plan document is made to have students understand what is expected of them in a business plan. This also has students create startup finances on excel, create business advertisements, business cards, a website and/or social media account, logo and slogan, and more! 9. Career Choices GoAnimate Project- Students explore their career choice options and create an animated video with their 10 year plan. This is a great project to have students think of their future while exploring career options.
10. Defining Success PowToon- Students create a digital animation presentation explaining what success means to them. This is great for having students set goals for themselves while planning for the future.
11. Successful Role Mode Research Project- Students research a role model of their choice and create a power point presentation to share with the class.
12. Budgeting Project- Students’ are given a budget to prepare for their new living arrangements after high school. They are to go purchase items for their new lifestyle while learning to budget their money using an excel document and formulas to track their spending. This helps students learn excel skills along with organization, and budgeting.
13. Ethical Dilemmas Internet Search Project- This is an project that has students search and read the internet over a ethical dilemma that has happened to a local or national business. They then have to answer questions over the article and make a presentation to show rest of the class what they learn
14. Advertising Project- (Comes with 3 day schedule for students to follow), this project has students create their own advertisement, it's a perfect way to reflect on how businesses advertise!
15. Leadership & Teamwork Activity- This is a class activity that has students put their leadership and teamwork skills to practice! Students absolutely love this product because it has them get out of their seats and they get to compete as well, all while learning! This product comes with full teacher instructions, 2 videos to show how the activity works, and a student reflection worksheet.
16. Decisions Making Book Project- This is a project that has students create a 7 page book over business decision making scenarios.
17. Introduction to Management Infographic- Students are assigned a certain management topic and show what they learned about it by creating an infographics through 2 free websites. Learning how to create infographics is a great skill for students to learn as well!
18. Management Careers Project- Students will research and create a presentation over a Management Career of their choice.
19. Who Is a Good Leader Project- Students choose someone they believe is a good leader and answer questions about them on a presentation. This project has them reflect on leadership styles as well.
