Unit Objectives:
Students will learn the foundations of Variable Scope and Arrays with demonstrations and applications.
Students will design and create JavaScript coding with If, If Else, and Nesting IF Statements.
Students will analyze and create JavaScript coding with Complex Conditions & Switch Statements.
Students will create innovative artifacts or solve authentic problems with JavaScript coding with While, Do While, and For Loops.
This unit plan is designed to teach students the basics of JavaScript coding. Students will gain knowledge on commonly used tags that cover:

JavaScript While, Do While & For Loops
Students learn these skills by completing twelve activities where they practice coding with an example and then have to put a twist on each coding activity. Students will also code a Rock, Paper, Scissors Game and a 3 Truths and 1 Lie Project that is great for students to strengthen their coding skills. This unit is a great way to introduce Javascript coding for your students in an accessible format while helping build their coding confidence one activity at a time.
