Event Research Activity- an event is a planned public or social occasion. It can be local, worldwide, amateur, or professional. To dive deeper into sports and entertainment marketing events, students will research existing events in this industry and then reflect on them.
2-Part Sponsorship Activity- Students will read and reflect on some of the most popular current sponsorships. Students will then answer questions about their research. Then, students will develop their sponsorship pitch and ad to share with the class.
2-Part School Fan Experience Activity- As a class, you will be touring your school’s facilities for athletic and entertainment events. Then students will be answering the questions below about these facilities and how they affect fans. Then students will go online and research the internet, social media, the school website, etc., to learn about what the school offers for fan experience at sports and entertainment events.
These activities are infused with technology, real-world application and are designed to be engaging and rigorous. These are perfect activities for any business class.
