Project Details:

Writing step-by-step instructions is essential for game designer-programmers to ensure effective communication, maintain consistency, support team collaboration, and ultimately create a prosperous and well-structured game. It helps streamline the development process, reduce errors, and improve the overall quality of the final product. Before students get into the coding side of game design, they will practice their game design skills by creating a step-by-step instruction sheet. Why an instruction sheet? It is good to practice writing instructions to ensure your steps are clear and the user can understand the task. Then, the student's teacher will have all the students share their instruction sheets with the class to see if their classmates can complete the task. If students can have their classmates complete the task, they can officially say they think like a game design programmer!

This project is infused with technology and real-world application and is designed to be engaging and rigorous. It is the perfect unit for any technology, computer, STEAM, or business class.
